The Primary Health Centre promotes the importance of medical treatment and the need to receive it with the purpose of reducing the mortality rate within the area. Basic health care and hygiene are carried out in the areas of antenatal care, immunization, non communicable and communicable diseases, local accidents and emergency, nutrition, health education and community mobilization, maternal and newborn care etc.

Laboratory Services
The Health Centre conducts appropriate cost effective and high quality assured laboratory services and practices to ensure timely and prompt routine and desired investigations for patients who visit the Centre.
Clinical tests are conducted for the diagnosis of malaria, measles, yellow fever, meningitis, cholera, polio and others.
Demonstration Classes
Classes in hygiene and child care are given too with obvious benefit to the health of the community. The people began to recognize early symptoms and realize the importance of early treatment of e.g. kwashiorkor, malaria, typhoid fever, diarrhea and other infectious diseases. The Oral Rehydration Therapy is now well known and well used, frequently saving the very lives of the infants of these villages. The value of western medicine was appreciated and was effective.
Medical outreaches
Volunteers of our projects in various parts of the country carry out Medical Outreaches in rural and semi urban communities. These outreaches render short-term health services to villages that lacks primary health units and those who cannot seek proper medical services or advice due to financial constraints.
Home Visitation
Visitation to some elderly villagers in the surrounding villages who cannot move around.
The Centre carried out home visitations to some elderly villagers in the surrounding villages who cannot move around. They checked them for random blood sugar, blood pressure, and others vital health signs. In the process, they discovered some hypertensive patients who were advised to come for follow-up in the Centre and possible referral for Specialist care.
